Service Description
As a server volunteer, you will help give out food and clothes face-to-face with the unhoused of Montreal. This heartwarming experience is unlike any! More Details Volunteer Job Duties: - As a volunteer server you'll be given a location to meet at for noon. Usually Place Emilie Gamelin. 1500 Rue Berri, Montréal, QC H2L 2C4. - Help with loading and unloading from driver volunteer's car - Set up tables, tents, and create a system of giving out the food, hygiene product and clothing. - Distribute food items and/or utensils to population being serviced - Have conversations with those your helping and ofcourse your peer volunteers while listening to music - Help take down everything once all is given out Length of volunteering: approximately, 1 ½ - 2 ½ hours For more information, you can call us at 438-808-7754, email us at info@welfareavenue.com or visit our FAQ page for common questions!
